- potatoes peeled 8
- Oil for deep frying
- Grated cheddar cheese 50 gr
- Grated gouda cheese 50 gr
- bouche cheese cut into small pieces 30 gr
- Table salt
- Bag of ice
Slice peeled potatoes into chips
Place the chip slices in pot of heated but not boiling oil ( at 160c)
Fry the potatoes for 7-9 minutes, strain and transfer directly to ice water.
Strain and dry chips
Heat oven to 200
Bring oil in pot to boiling temp (190c) fry chips in small portions 5-7 minutes
Place in mixing bowl with paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Transfer potato slices to oven dish and sprinkle cheese mixture on top, bake for 5-7 minutes or until cheese and melted.
