- potatoes, peeled sliced width wise on mandolin* 4
- tablespoons flour 2
- baking soda 5 table spoons
- baking powder 1 packet
- Oil for deep frying
Heat oil for deep frying
Form batter with flour, soda, baking powder, salt, egg mix well and leave to rest for 10 minutes.
Dip each slice of potato into the batter and straight into the hot oil, fry for 2-3 minutes until golden and puffy.
